Parent Nurturing Group Services

Arbor Circle’s Parent Nurturing/Nurturing Parent Group is designed to support families with children in out-of-home placements. We understand the emotional and logistical challenges that these families face and offer structured parent and children groups to facilitate healing, reconnection, and growth. Our groups provide a safe space for parents and children to rebuild their relationships, enhance parenting skills, and work toward reunification.

Offering Specialized Support

Arbor Circle’s Parent Nurturing/Nurturing Parent groups are strength-based and designed to introduce nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglectful parenting practices. Groups cover topics such as stress management, understanding feelings, communicating with respect, and child development expectations.

Our Parent Nurturing Group offerings include:

  • Structured parent and children groups to promote bonding, improve communication, and foster healthy family dynamics
  • Skill-building workshops to help parents develop effective parenting strategies and manage stress
  • Opportunities for parents to connect with others in similar situations, fostering a supportive community and shared learning experiences
  • Access to additional resources and referrals to further support families on their path to reunification
