Parenting in the Screenage: Parent Conversation
June 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FREEParenting is tough. Setting screen time limits is tough. Navigating kids and the internet is tough.
Join Arbor Circle and the Ottawa Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition for a conversation about how to parent in the screen age. The conversation will be based around the book “Parenting in The Screen Age” by Delaney Ruston, MD. Dr. Ruston is the creator of Screenagers and Screenagers next chapter as well as a weekly podcast and newsletter dedicated to navigating parenting and the virtual/internet world.
This parent conversation will be based on the topics in the book, but also a place for parents to come and share with each other the struggles they are experiencing, the successes they’ve had, and ways to have consistent and helpful conversations with our kids.
The conversation will be cancelled if a minimum of 10 people are not registered.
All participants will receive a free copy of the book “Parenting in the Screen Age”.
