DESCRIPTION:Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify\, understand\, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. \n\n\n\nThis course covers: \n\n\n\n\nCommon signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges\n\n\n\nHow to interact with a person in crisis and connect them to help\n\n\n\nExpanded content on trauma\, substance use\, and self-care\n\n\n\n\nTotal training time is 8 hours\, with 6 hours of live (virtual or in-person) instructor training\, and 2 hours of online pre-work.
