Youth Education
Arbor Circle’s Youth Education services are designed to equip young individuals with the skills and knowledge they need for a successful future. One such program we offer is the Botvin Lifeskills Transitions Training. This program targets high school juniors and seniors in Ottawa County, preparing them for life beyond high school. The training covers essential life skills including money management, time management, coping with stress, strengthening communication, and dealing with other potential challenges. Our goal is to ensure that young people are equipped and confident to navigate the next phase of their lives.

Promoting Healthy Choices with the Botvin Lifeskills Curriculum and Prime for Life
In addition to our Transitions Training, we offer the Botvin Lifeskills Elementary, Middle, and High School Curriculum, a research-validated substance abuse prevention program. This program is proven to reduce the risks of alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse, and violence by targeting the major social and psychological factors that promote the initiation of substance use and other risky behaviors. In partnership with Newaygo Juvenile Services, we also offer Prime for Life, a program designed to educate youth on how substance use problems develop, prevention strategies, and how to ask for help.
