The Bridge

The Bridge of Arbor Circle is a temporary safe shelter program for youth ages 10-17 at risk of running away or experiencing housing instability. The Bridge offers youth a stable and accessible place to stay. Located in Grand Rapids, our facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

We’re here for you

Young people may find themselves without a safe place to stay for many reasons:

  • Experiencing financial hardship
  • Being abandoned or neglected
  • Abuse
  • Running away
  • Being kicked out of their homes
  • Substance use concerns
  • Sexual orientation and gender identity

You can call ahead or simply stop by. We’ll perform an intake assessment and get you connected to services.

  • Open to youth of any identity, ages 10-17 in Kent, Ottawa, Montcalm, and Ionia counties
  • Services are completely free
  • Open 24/7/365
